Our Approach to Hair Micrografting
At Dr Hadges Medical Aesthetics, we take a regenerative, non-surgical approach to early-stage hair thinning and scalp health.
Hair Micrografting harnesses the power of your own tissue to stimulate dormant follicles, support healthy hair growth, and slow the progression of thinning — naturally and without surgery.
This treatment involves isolating regenerative micrografts from a small area of your own scalp and reintroducing them into areas of concern. These micrografts contain growth-signalling cells that promote follicular repair, improve scalp circulation, and encourage new hair growth over time.

TREATMENT JOURNEY
All hair loss treatments begin with a personalised consultation with Dr Hadges.
We will:
Assess your pattern, history, and stage of hair thinning
Discuss relevant factors such as stress, hormones, health, or genetics
Review previous treatments (if any) and their outcomes
Determine if micrografting is appropriate for you — and outline realistic expectations
If suitable, your hair micrografting procedure is performed on-site by Dr Hadges under sterile, comfortable conditions.
Procedure takes 60–90 minutes
A small tissue sample is taken from a donor site (usually behind the ear)
It is processed using a specialised system to isolate regenerative micrografts
These are then reintroduced into areas of concern using a fine application method
No stitches or shaving required
Hair regeneration is a gradual process, and care continues well beyond your appointment.
After treatment, we:
Provide specific aftercare to support healing and comfort
Monitor progress over the following months
Offer guidance on nutrition, supplements, scalp care, and preventative strategies
Discuss optional maintenance or repeat treatments (typically every 6–12 months if needed)

Frequently Asked Questions
Hair micrografting is a non-surgical treatment that uses your own regenerative tissue to support scalp health, awaken dormant follicles, and improve natural hair growth.
Unlike surgical hair transplants, micrografting does not involve relocating follicles. Instead, it stimulates the repair and activity of existing follicles in thinning areas.
It is best for early to moderate hair thinning. If you still have follicles present (even if they’re not growing strong hair), you may be a candidate.
Initial improvement may begin at 2–3 months. Most clients see visible thickening by month 4–6, with continued gains up to 12 months post-treatment.
Mild discomfort may occur, but local anaesthetic is used to ensure comfort throughout. Tenderness usually settles within 1–2 days.
Minimal. Most clients return to work the next day. Some choose to rest for 24–48 hours if there is mild swelling or tightness.
Yes — it can complement topical treatments, prescription therapies, nutritional support, and LED light therapy.
Some clients benefit from one treatment; others may choose maintenance sessions every 6–12 months based on their hair loss pattern.
Results are long-lasting but depend on lifestyle, genetics, and ongoing care. Early intervention helps protect existing follicles and prolong success.
Yes. Hair micrografting is effective and appropriate for both men and women experiencing thinning or hair quality changes.
