SKIN TREATMENTS

MICRONEEDLING

 Microneedling

Our Approach to Microneedling

Microneedling is an in-clinic procedure that uses fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. It may be considered as part of a personalised skin plan for individuals wishing to discuss concerns relating to skin texture and overall skin appearance.

Following an assessment, microneedling may be incorporated into treatment plans for concerns such as uneven texture, the appearance of acne scarring, enlarged-looking pores or age-related skin changes. A course of several sessions is commonly discussed.

Treatments are carried out under the medical oversight of Dr Stephen Hadges, who brings over 35 years of clinical experience. Recommendations are based on an individual’s concerns, medical history, skin assessment and treatment goals.

Possible side effects include redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, bruising, sensitivity, pigmentation changes, infection and, rarely, scarring. Microneedling may not be suitable during pregnancy, with active skin infections or with some medications. Results vary between individuals, and suitability can only be determined following a consultation.
